As you move around and do stuff, your Food Bar will be depleted, and if you eat, it will be refilled.

If your Food gets down below 3 full icons, you will not be able to run. If it gets down to zero, you will start to take damage and if you don’t eat soon, you will die.

If your Food bar is full or nearly full, your Health will regenerate.

For this reason, it is best never to be hungry.
